Austin College Charity Dinner raised $1070 for SANE Australia  March 25th

Sarah was invited to give a talk about mental health, mental illness and Ben’s story at Austin College, at the University of New England.  The college students put on a spectacular night filled with games to raise money for SANE Australia.   A very enthusiastic effort by all!

University of New England  ‘Celebration of Sharing’ raised $4554 help cover the cost of the Walk.

Celebration of Sharing is an annual event where two local charities or individuals are chosen to be the recipients of numerous fundraising events that take place over a year.    The first and the largest Celebration of Sharing event was the Art Auction.   Many local and national artists generously donated their work for the cause.

Charisma, from Sydney, gave a wonderful classical concert in Armidale to raise funds for the cost of the walk in September 2010.

American based and highly talented Simon Powis performed magnificantly at the Our Lady of the Angels Ursuline Chapel in Armidale, as part of the Celebration of Sharing.

Golden Key International Honours Society New Members Award Ceremony

As a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society Sarah was asked to give a talk about her Walking Feat Vision (see photos above!).
